We all have some area in our life that we say we are going to change. Whether it’s our relationship, business, finances, career, health. We all have something that we want to take to the next level, but for one reason or another, we fall short. Maybe we give up too soon, or simply don’t follow through. Maybe we make an excuse or even sabotage it before we had a chance to start. Whatever the reason, we just couldn’t achieve our desired outcomes.

There are three key components to creating a breakthrough: strategy, story and state. The way you approach a goal, your beliefs about your life, and your mental game form the foundation for any success or failure. But by learning how to train your brain and by creating a winning state of mind, you can take control and start achieving your outcomes today!

1)      Strategy – with today’s technology we have so many strategies available to us.  How you approach your goals requires strategy and applying the right strategy at the right time is key.  Discover a new way to do something by shifting your approach.  Create a new strategy that will help improve your performance.  You have total control over how you will approach your goal.  The great news is that if your current strategy isn’t producing the results you’re looking for, shift your strategy.  Shift your limited beliefs and remind yourself, “There are always options available to me.”  Your creativity is the key to developing new strategies.

2)      Story – we all have a story of why we are where we are.  What is the story you’re telling yourself right now?  Is your story that you don’t have enough money?  Enough education? Enough support?  Enough time?  Or maybe you feel that you’ve tried everything and it just didn’t work. Change your story and change your life.  Focus on what is possible, not impossible.  Many people’s story is that they lack the resources to achieve their outcomes.  Lacking in resources is not the challenge; the lack of resourcefulness is the issue.  Give up the story that limits you.  Shift your story to emotion, empowerment and growth!

3)      State – your state is the most critical element to your success.  Your state determines how you think and feel.  What you focus on is what you feel.  It’s the decisions we make and not our conditions that determine our destiny.  The focus on what you can control gives you confidence.  Focusing on what you have vs. what you don’t have, gives you gratitude.  Focusing on your future and not your past gives you direction and keeps you moving forward! Your mindset to how you approach each situation is critical. Your attitude and belief in yourself is everything.  So, begin today by saying yes to you and your dreams.  You’re worth it.
